Wish You the Greetings and Blessings of CMI Foundation Day

Dear Rev. Fathers and Brothers,
Wish You the Greetings and Blessings of CMI Foundation Day!
Yes, it is God's doing. The spiritual movement started at Mannanam on 11th May, 1831 has come of age. The story of 186 Years has been a pilgrimage, a way of the cross, and a movement to the unknown territories with the joy of the Gospel. CMI congregation is indeed the action of the Holy Spirit in a critical point in history and grew out of the intense God experience in Christ of our founding fathers. We are called to be the members of the congregation, dear to the Mother of God. (St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara). Let us thank the Lord for all He has done for us.
General Council and Provincial Councils will be at the tomb of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara and celebrate the Holy Eucharist and consecrate the congregation to our Lady
We are a missionary congregation called by the special grace of God. God has willed to found this congregation for the salvation of our Christian brethren. With strong missionary spirituality let us move to the peripheries of the world.
However, numerous the monasteries are, all must be like the members of one family, children born to, nursed and brought up by the same mother. Never let this love weakens, but let it grow stronger from day today (St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara).
Fr. Paul Achandy CMI
